Performance Summary for Business Operations
Support Services Contract, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City,
FL:
Nakuuruq Solutions, LLC provides technical and skilled labor support
services for the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Panama City, FL (NSWC-PC)
under Business Operations Support Services contract N61331-05-D-0010. Through
this contract, Nakuuruq provides Government Managers with high quality
services in a timely manner for a reasonable price maximizing innovation
and cost reduction initiatives.
The business Operations Department at NSWC, Panama City is responsible
for managing and directing the business functions that support the Center’s
technical programs and mission. Key functions include corporate
staff and command support, financial management, human resources management,
acquisition, information technology, public works, and security (excluding
law enforcement). Nakuuruq provides all labor, supervision, tools,
materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to provide support
within the Business Operations Support functional areas specified in
individual task orders.
Functional Areas of Support are as follows:
Management and Program Analysis Support activities include providing
analysis and advice to management of the effectiveness of Government
programs and operations or the productivity and efficiency of the management
of processes. Nakuuruq provides personnel with skill in the application
of fact finding and investigative techniques; oral and written communications
and development of presentations and reports in support of this requirement.
Clerical and Administrative Support activities include carrying out
and coordinating all the day-to-day administrative and clerical tasks
that are typically required to accomplish the work of the organization. Nakuuruq
provides personnel who possess a general knowledge of substantive work
of the organization under the jurisdiction of the persons assisted.
Mail and Delivery Support activities include direct support in performing
general messenger services, such as receiving, delivering, and collecting
incoming and outgoing mail or other documents or items, including correspondence,
memoranda, publications, records, files, packages, and other similar
material. Nakuuruq provides personnel with skills matching these
tasks as required by individual task order.
Information Technology and Data Entry Support activities include direct
support for systems and services used in the automated acquisition,
storage, manipulation, management, movement, control, display, switching,
interchange, transmission, assurance, or reception of information. Information
Technology includes computers, network components, peripheral equipment,
software, firmware, services, and related resources. Nakuuruq provides
personnel with skills necessary to support the planning and coordinating
the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
of hardware and software systems.
Event Coordination and Information Dissemination Support activities
include establishing and maintaining mutual communication between NSWC
PC and the general public and various other pertinent publics including
internal or external, foreign or domestic audiences. This support
includes advising NSWC PC management on policy formulation and the potential
public reaction to proposed policy. Nakuuruq provides personnel
skilled in written and oral communication, analysis, and interpersonal
relations in response to various task orders associated with this support
function.
Material Handling and Control Support activities include direct support
in receiving, storing, assembling for issue or shipment, and shipping
a variety of bin and bulk supplies, materials, and equipment. Nakuuruq
provides personnel with knowledge of the methods used in processing
material into and out of the supply system, including methods used in
tallying types and quantities of items against receiving and shipping
documents; skill in palletizing, stacking and otherwise placing and
arranging items in storage locations; and an understanding of processes
to be followed in issuing and removing items from stock.
Facilities Management Support services includes preparation of planning
and programming documentation for facilities projects. Nakuuruq
provides personnel able to provide analytical support and engineering
support to include planning and managing a variety of processes and
initiatives using facilities management principles and methodologies
to prepare facilities documents.
Communications Office Support activities include support for the operation
of a Navy Telecommunications center (ie. Transmission, receipt, acceptance,
processing, and distribution of incoming and outgoing organizational
message traffic). Nakuuruq provides personnel skilled in executing
communications office operations as identified through specific task
orders.
Simulator Facility Center Support requires Nakuuruq to provide personnel
who direct computer operations, provide direction to operators, and
develop all output from the Simulator Facility. Activities include
but are not limited to maintaining procedural operational manuals; conducting
daily entry and review of daily operational logs; planning, organizing,
directing, and controlling computer systems operations; and generating
required output data for analysis.
Document
Automation and Production Support is provided to the NSWC-PC Command
Copy Shop. Nakuuruq’s activities associated with this functional
area of support include receiving, stocking and maintaining an inventory
of supplies; providing estimates to customers; briefing customers in
filling out printing request forms; providing “while-you-wait”
service to customers; provide complimentary service to walk-in customers
for simple jobs such as drilling, stapling, binding, cut-to-size, etc.
Shop
Support activities supplement the operations of the NSWC-PC fabrication
shops for taskings in excess of current capacity and include efforts
such as: welding metals and alloys utilizing electric, gas and other
welding processes; fabricating, modifying, repairing, assembling and
installing sheet metal parts; fabricating, modifying, repairing and
installing, plastic items, parts and assemblies; applying coating materials;
dismantling repairing, relocating, modifying, maintaining, aligning,
overhauling, and installing fixed and semi-fixed production machinery;
and manufacturing parts and items of equipment from castings, forgings,
and other raw stocks made of various metals, and machining operations
required in the repair of such items.
