Donald E. Atwell


Mr. Atwell serves as President for Nakuuruq Solutions, LLC where he has overall P&L and business development responsibilities.  Prior to this, he served as the interim General Manager for Lynxnet, LLC.  He also served as Senior Director for Truestone, LLC where he successfully led solution development and capture activities for large U.S. Coast Guard, DoD, and FBI opportunities.  Mr. Atwell is a proven leader with more than 19 years’ experience in business process outsourcing, operations management, transaction processing, and systems engineering projects in the health and human services, banking, and Federal contracting sectors. Prior to joining Nakuuruq and the Akima family of companies, he built and operated two new lines of business, each with annual revenues in excess of $45M.

Dennis Thompson

C-5 Program Director

Dennis Thompson has served his country and the defense industry for 44 years. He serves Nakuuruq Solutions’ Program Director for the C-5 Maintenance and Aircrew Training System contract with the U.S. Air Force.  Retired from the Air Force, Mr. Thompson spent his 20 year career in the Training and Simulation field. In the 24 years since his retirement, Mr. Thompson has served as a Site/Program Manager maintaining flight simulators/trainers for the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Marine Corp. The platforms he has supported during his career include: T-37, T-38, T-39, F-4, F-15, F-16, C-141, C-5, CH-46, CH-53, and AH-1.

His experience in the Air Force as instructor, maintenance technician, manager, and branch chief prepared him for success in the civilian community. Since his retirement, Mr. Thompson has successfully lead six programs for four different contractors.

Charles A.  Wood

TITLE Business Development

Mr. Wood provides telecommunications sales and program support to customers like the U.S. military, U.S. Coast Guard, the State Department, and the Department of Homeland Security.  Mr. Wood has a history of successful performance and professional leadership, management, and supervisory experience in a variety of fields and disciplines and notable government customers.

Mr. Wood served in the U.S. Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer (Shipboard Fire Control and Delivery Anti-Air, Anti-Surface, and Anti-Subsurface Weapons Systems, Shipboard Conventional Power Plant Systems, Shipboard Damage Control Systems and Executive Level). Prior to joining Nakuuruq Solutions, Mr. Wood successfully delivered products, installation services, and maintenance services to customers like Motorola, Nextel, the State of Nevada, the Department of Defense, the Department of Transportation, Cisco, Lucent, Alcatel and many others.  He also supervised personnel in CONUS and OCONUS locations.

Troy Nevins

TITLE Project Manager

Troy Nevins has an extensive background in Project and Program Management for DoD as both an active duty enlisted member, and as a government contractor.  Troy spent more than 13 years in the U.S. Air Force managing a variety of projects like avionics support equipment re-design and upgrades to Mil-Con facilities construction.  Troy’s experience in managing the tasks and activities associated with program change and improvement during his military career laid the foundation for his work today.  Troy’s experience with contract/project start-up and transition is extensive, having been Contract Manager for several unique government support services contracts.   Troy is a Certified Project Management Professional® (PMP) and currently manages Nakuuruq’s Business Operations Support Services contract for the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Panama City Division in Panama City, FL.

George Stewart


Mr. Stewart joined the Nakuuruq Solutions Team in 2012 and brings 22 years of U.S. Coast Guard experience in Naval Engineering and large construction project program management skills. Mr. Stewart has recently served as Director of Operations and COO for two Construction companies while maintaining five Florida State Construction industry licenses in four separate disciplines.

Mr. Stewart is a member of the Nakuuruq Solutions management team at NSWC Panama City detachment at Naval Coastal Systems Station Panama City, Florida. The team is responsible for operation and management of the Machinist, Structural and Rigging Support contract. Drawing on his skills in marine construction, manufacturing, and marine operations, Mr. Stewart enjoys the ever changing Proto Type manufacturing and testing support requirements of the NSWC PCD environment.  Known for his “we can do anything” attitude, Mr. Stewart is a valued member of Nakuuruq services team.

James M. Dattilo

Senior Director Business Development

Mr. Dattilo is Nakuuruq’s Senior Director of Business Development and responsible  for structuring key alliances, developing and leading strategic sales initiatives, managing internal and external client relationships , relationship building, team mentoring, identifying opportunities, and connecting customers with solutions that fit their technical and budget requirements.

Mr. Dattilo has more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and senior management positions. His specialties include: opening new and emerging markets in competitive environments, optimizing sales operations to increase revenue, expanding market share through market capitalization within untapped channels, competitive analysis, and delivering superior customer satisfaction. He has expertly built top-producing sales organizations through strategic relationship partnering, tactical sales with training and key accountability management. Mr. Dattilo has effectively managed change within organizations, establishing highly effective sales and management teams. His experience also includes, pricing competitive proposals, budgeting for maximization of goals, and contract agreements and negotiations.

Robert McKeen

Business Development Manager

Mr. McKeen is one of Nakuuruq’s Business Development Managers.  He also serves as Program Manager and Network Engineer with more than 15 years of professional experience in diverse global environments.  Mr. McKeen’s superior management and technical skills are enhanced by professionalism and ability to manage projects and people to achieve outstanding results.  Trusted leadership abilities were proven while assigned to the White House Communications Agency (WHCA) as a shift supervisor. In this position, primarily was responsible for managing and controlling a global secure digital telecommunications network for the President of the United States.
